The 2024/25 NWCFL Premier Division season is coming to an end and despite our playoff hopes recently fading away, we are still determined to end the season positively. That begins with Friday’s clash with high-flying Ramsbottom United.
We come into this match on the back of a strong 4-1 victory over Pilkington Football Club at the Vestacare Stadium, we hope to carry on our momentum from this win into our next fixture.
Our opponents, Ramsbottom United are still chasing promotion this season. Infect they endured quite a long period of time at the top of the league in the early stages of the season. They have also won their last six games, most recently against Stockport Town at home, where they won 2-0.
Last time we faced Ramsbottom was back in February, after the game was originally pushed back due to extreme weather conditions. Tonight’s visitors edged us out that night, coming away with a 1-0 victory.
We expect a hard test. But one that we are determined to win as we look to end our time at the Vestcare stadium in the most positive way possible.
